After years of waiting, the One Piece anime has entered what many fans call a new era with the Erbaf (also spelled Elbaph) arc. A new broadcast pace, a new production approach, and a new extraordinary island: here is what you need to know so you don't miss a thing.
What is the Erbaf arc?
Erbaf (Elbaph in some translations) is the name of the island of giants that the Straw Hat crew explores in this part of the story. It is an arc that manga readers have been long anticipating, and its anime adaptation has received special attention from the studio, with a change in the broadcast format designed to give more space to each episode.
Where and how to follow it
The arc is broadcast on the anime's usual streaming platforms, with a release schedule communicated episode by episode by the animation studio. To ensure you don't miss any releases, the most reliable method is to follow official distribution channels directly rather than unverified sources, as dates are subject to change.
Why this arc is a turning point
What makes Erbaf special is both the scale of the island (everything there is oversized, on a giant scale) and the narrative importance of this segment in the overall story. Many long-time fans consider this arc to be one of the most memorable in the series, both for its visual atmosphere and for what it reveals about the universe.
